Dr. Elicia Harris
Dr. Elicia Harris, MD, MBA, FACOG is a board-certified OB-GYN, healthcare leader, and maternal health advocate dedicated to advancing equity in healthcare. A proud Fort Wayne native, she earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, where she was awarded the prestigious Dr. George Rawls full-tuition scholarship. She went on to complete her OB-GYN residency at IU, serving as co-administrative chief resident.
After practicing as a generalist OB-GYN in Fort Wayne, Dr. Harris returned to Indianapolis in 2019 to serve as a hospitalist at Community North Hospital. She later earned her Physician MBA from the IU Kelley School of Business, equipping her with the tools to co-found Navigate Maternity, a medical technology startup focused on improving maternal outcomes through data-driven innovation and health equity.
In addition to her clinical and entrepreneurial work, Dr. Harris is a committed policy advocate. She serves as Vice Chair and former Treasurer of the Indiana Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), where she plays a key role in legislative advocacy efforts. Through every facet of her career, Dr. Harris remains a fierce advocate for patients and a champion for systemic change in maternal health.
